The U.S. military is using helmets to help fight the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as it investigates the death of a military photographer in Iraq, according to reports.
The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported Monday that an unnamed U.N. peacekeeping force in northern Iraq had lost its photographer, who was killed last month while photographing soldiers.
A team of investigators is examining the cause of his death.
The Daily Mail said the U. S. military was aware of the incident, but it did not disclose what type of helmet he was wearing.
