New England Patriots safety Shutt is taking to the field for the first time in his pro career with a new helmet, and the latest on his journey to getting it right.
The new helmet will go on sale on Monday at a cost of $180.49.
Schutt, a third-round pick in 2017, is the only player in NFL history to wear two helmets in one game.
He is currently out of action after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
He said after the game that he was trying to stay positive.
Schutt said after Monday’s practice that he had a good day, but he couldn’t say anything more until he was on the field.
He did say he thought his injury was “minor.”
After practice, head coach Bill Belichick said he was confident in the new helmet.
He also said he expected Schutt to be back for the regular season.
The Patriots will play at Buffalo on Sunday.
